Design Strategy:
Communicate design basic principles - use a letter "d" for design as icon. Use RGB, the modern primary color palette. The word "Logo" is the only one in black (or darkest).

Communicate warmth and possibilities - use Origami on the icon but not the final folded silhouette, rather, capture it mid-action thus the softer flowing lines of the fold. One could either see it as either unfolding or folding to a final shape. The flap can also be seen as about to embrace / wrap on something - a little intimate.

A bit quirky - use small "g" amongst all caps and block align it so the tail is not gangling.
​
Communicate innovation - use a ball instead of cutting a hole on the sheet to clearly form the letter "d" icon. Color the ball red to stress the point.
